The material for this book was shot in Peru in 2016 during an almost three week trip. It was organized by contacting local tour operators who picked us up at airports and took us around for a few days. At the time the country was fairly well known by American tourists but not beyond. The reputation of its incredible sights and scenery has spread around the globe since then.
The images reflect the subdued mood of November weather and the soft, indirect light over most surfaces. I attempted to present not only the great monuments but also the people living in Peru and their routine activities.
