Photo Exhibition in MagNet House

This exhibition was opened at Magnet House in Budapest in December 2020 and closed right after the opening night. Lock-down restrictions came into force the following day and it had to be abandoned for almost half a year. It was reopened the following May and, as a result, it stayed on the walls for the longest period in Magnet’s history. However, this was not the way it was planned.

Magnet Bank is known to be a community bank and its head office hosts many fine art and photo exhibitions.

János Eifert, the respected Hungarian photographer and curator of the show, made the opening remarks in front of a small but enthusiastic crowd all wearing face masks. Half a year later the selection of images enjoyed great success.

The leading theme was portraiture and street photography shot over several journeys around the world and at public events in Hungary.
